History
1932: On 22nd June the Lewisham Town Hall opened with C. H. Trevor & Reginald New at the Compton.
1984: Some work was carried out on the Compton by Rushworth & Dreaper.
2005: Taylor-Hammond Associates were bought in to give the organ much needed work and keep it maintained.
2009: On 8th March the Compton was reopened with a concert featuring Simon Gledhill and ‘The New Foxtrot Serenaders’.
