History
1925: The Palace Theatre in Tottenham, London was opened on 6th April with Jack Courtney at the Wurlitzer.
1957: The Wurlitzer was sold to Rye Grammar School minus its tuned precession and effects. Some re-leathering was done on some of chests.
1983-1993: Nigel Spooner who was a teacher at the School did more work to the Wurlitzer and sourced a Compton toy counter and installed it.
1993: Richard Moore formed Friends of Rye Wurlitzer.
1997-1998: Sold State Relay System Installed by Bill Walker. This meant the introduction of a MIDI Piano plus Quint & Tierce (Blackpool) Couplers.
1999: Glockenspiel re-installed.
2003: Addition of digital ranks – Clarinet, Orchestral Oboe and Salicional Celeste.
